Help!  Everything I try to print, scan, or copy I get a
disconneted from printer message and sometimes spool.  I
was told that Windows Me doesn't work well with this
printer and to purchase Windows 98 or 2000 or XP. Is this
true?  If not, what should I do?  I have installed several
times, checked printing port to see of all cables are
connected correctly.  Basically, I have tried everything.
Any suggestions?  Thank you, Tonja

Is it connected via USB or via Parallel port?

Ensure your USB ports are not set to power down when the PC is 'resting'.
It's in Device Manager under USB Controllers.
