My printer quit working in the middle of a print job. I
got a message on my computer saying there was an error
printing to LPT1 (Hpdeskjet3820)It said there was a
timeout error and that I could go to the Printers folder
and click on Properties and adjust the times to correct
the problem. I have done that but it doesn't help. I even
bought a new printer and installed it and when I try to
print a test page, I get the same error message. The light
on the printer blinks, like it should when it is receiving
a print job, but then quits and nothing. The print que has
a job in it, but I cannot get anything to print from my
computer. I am running Windows Me. I have searched and
searched for help. Any answers????????
