i own a canon bjc-5000, and no matter what i do, i cant
seem to get it to function with windows ME. is there a
compatability issue, or am i doing something terribly
wrong? please help me.

Do you have the latest driver available from Canon? Some older drivers are
not compatible with WinME.

Since Windows ME is listed for the driver, it is supported.
Are you getting an error? If so, what is it? Does the printer show up in
the printers folder?
