After re-installing Windows ME on my pc, I can't re-
install my printer. There seems to be something wrong with
my printer driver. I have a Canon MultiPass600. It worked
fine before. Now it lets me get all the way thru the
installation. But right at the end it locks up. And of
course won't work at all. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks, Deb

I don't find a Canon MultiPass 600 listed on Canon's web site but if you go
to their support site, you will find tips, troubleshooting, new drivers,
etc.  From here click FAQs and then type Install in the search pane and you
will find an article that gives instructions for uninstalling and
reinstalling your printer driver.

If this doesn't work, then I'd suggest clean booting and then trying the
installation again.  Sometimes you may have items loading at Startup that
cause problems with installations.  These particularly include Antivirus
utilities but others as well so disabling these for the printer installation
may help you get it installed.  You can then re-enable anything that you
disabled to do this.

Since you are concerned that their might be a problem with the driver, I
would first download and attempt to install the most recent driver from
Canon.
