I cannot re-install a Lexmark X75 printer to lap-top with WindowsME
installed. Goes thru the installation process until it gets to the "Find
Printer" screen, then refuses to find the USB port. Have Microsoft issued
updated USB drivers for ME usb ports, and if so, where can I download them
from?

USB drivers for WindowsME are usually at the website of your PC manufacturer
or (even better) at the website of your motherboard manufacturer.

Check the documentation that came with the printer - usually USB device
require that you install the drivers first (creating a virtual USB printer
port), then connect the printer so the USB port can be "found" when the
printer is detected.

USB 1.1 drivers came with WindowsMe and there were no updates.

Do your USB ports work with other devices?
