Can anyone help me?  I installed a 5150 Lexmark Printer
and had no problem with the stand-alone function of the
printer; it printed perfectly.  When I loaded the printer
software so that I could use the printer through my
computer; I have had nothing but problems.  First I tried
to print something from my email and I got this
message: "An error has occurred in the script on this
page: line 1174 Char:1 Error unspecified error Code:O
URL:  res://C: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SHDOCLC.DLL\preview.dlg"
I contacted Lexmark about this and their reply was that:
generally the DLL errors are caused due to some problem in
the Operating System.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the printer
driver to no avail.
At present I have taken this software off my PC because
it disables my ability to connect with Internet Explorer 6.
I have a Norton Systemworks Program installed on my
computer.  When I run the "One Button Checkup on Norton
Systemworks, it indicates that there is a problem with
the "Program Integrity Scan", and gives the following
message:  Missing Program File  "C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Picture It! PhotoPub\MHPMRGEXE" Cannot
access a necessary file. "mhputilu.dll."
There was also an error message that said that this
file: C:\WINDOWS\?ptwis.dat  was written over?
Can anyone tell me how to recover the missing
file "mhputilu.dll.", and also how to repair the file that
was partially written over?
I have a Dell Computer and I took the "Restore Your
Files" feature back to the day that my computer was
delivered to me, and the problem with the missing file was
there at that time.  It just didn't become a problem until
I tried to install a printer that will print photos.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem.  I would
appreciate any help that I can get.
                 Thankyou,  Marjorie Spicer
