I have downloaded ME Internet explorer update and
everytime it tries to install its self it says it cannot
complete as another programme is running , I've shut down
everything that I cant but it still comes up with the same
messages everytime. I reboot, when it says to I follow all
the intrustions to a T , but I still get the same question.
Whats the point in updating it when it just was finish
installing.
Please some one give me some advice here, as am getting
very frustrated with it all.
Thanks

Suzy,
First of all start your computer in 'Safe Mode' by holding down the 'Ctrl'
key while booting up, then select the Safe Mode option from the menu that
appears.
Once your system has started, press 'Ctrl-Alt-Del' and stop everything from
running except Explorer and Systray.  To do this, select each running
application and then press 'End Task'
Now try reinstalling the update.
