I aborted an upgrade to XP from WindowsME. Now every time
I re-start I get a DOS Window asking me to choose between
Windows XP Setup or Windows start. How can I get rid of
this menu?

Make or borrow a WindowsMe emergency boot diskette.  Do NOT substitute any
other startup floppy disk from any other version of Windows.  When you have
one, start the system up with the disk in.  You should shortly reach the
command prompt (A:/>) and when you do type the following and press Enter:

SYS C:

Then remove the floppy and restart the system normally.
