system wants to start up in 'safe' mode. As though I have pressed the f8 key. This may seem a daft question but are you *sure* that it is in Safe Mode? It *may* just be the wrong resolution. Does it say 'Safe Mode' in each corner of the display? If you are sure that it is in Safe Mode, then what happens when you shut-down and re-boot? Does it attempt to start in Normal Mode? Does it automatically run Scandisk? What have you already tried? Mart > system wants to start up in 'safe' mode. As though I have > pressed the f8 key. |
