Spent several hours with Dell Tech people.
Formatted my hard drive and tried to re-install
windows me. get an error message:
An exception 0E has occurred at 0028: C00610CD in
VxD  VNETBios (01)+ 00000B8D.
This was called from 0028: C023F58B in VxD
VMM (0C)+ 0000058B.

Computer hangs up at this stage and have to turn it off.
Cannot get past this stage even with the Dell Tech people.
Can you help?

Thank You

I have the same problem when trying to re-install Windows
ME on a Dell Dimension 4100. Win ME will not completely
load - it does not re-start after the Plug & Play
install. section. I ran the diagnostics and all hardware
checks out. Still looking for the solution.
