Reinstalling WIN ME

I want to reinstall Win ME but before I do so I want to
get a couple of things clear in my head.

1. I was running Symantec Internet Security before my PC
started to boot only in Safe Mode, how can I "uninstall or
disable my virus protection program or BIOS virus
protection" knowing that it is a Symantec one?

2. My ME is an upgrade from Win 95 OEM, if I chose to
disinstall ME will I revert back to 95?

1. Go to Symantec's website and download their uninstall program.
2. Uninstall ME and you will be left without an O/S.

Done that and I think I succeeded in getting rid of the
software, two more questions ;-)

1. is there a way I can check wheter or not Bios is still
protected before I disinstall Win ME?

2. What do I do once I uninstalled Win ME? I have
bootdisks, CD and product key?
