When I boot up, I get this error message. I have done a knowledge base search with no help. Please advise. Blue Dog What's the COMPLETE - EXACT error message? There should be more to it than That! I can't find any specific references for that error - but these are usually the result of bad drivers (often for the motherboard or processor). Try this - assuming you can boot to Safe Mode Boot to Safe Mode Open Device Manager Remove ALL error-flagged devices Remove ALL 'Other Devices' - if present Remove ALL instances of any duplicated devices Reboot to Normal Mode - Windows will reinstall required drivers (it may take a few reboots), hopefully curing your problem.
