I recieved, from my inlaws a HP Pavilion along with recovery disk with
Windows ME, my problem is after installing the recovery disk i'm prompted to
fill the registration for dail-up registry, and here lies my problem, ME does
not require or has dail-up support any longer for registration.  I need to
know how to get past registration process to use the computer, there is no
cancel or register later options. HELP  !!

thanks  KTB

Pressing continue or skip has always worked.  Win Me has never required
registration, it has only ever been optional.

In which case I don't think it is a Microsoft page you are seeing, could
it be an HP page?

Thanks Mike, It just so happened after posting my question that I restarted
the process over again and I discovered the skip button, must have missed it
the first time, amazing that tech support for both HP and Microsoft could not
answer my problem !
