I am no longer able to open folders on the desktop,
including My Computer. Each time I try, I get the above
error message. I can open them via a desk top shortcut to
Windows Explorer though. All was OK before! It may have
something to do with using the Spybot program to get rid
of stuff? That's the only thing I did prior to the fault
occurring. I restored what I had removed, but still no
luck. Anyone know what I should do?
Thanks!

This error appears to be associated with having installed WMP9.  I have
attempted to get more information from the WMP team at Microsoft and, to date,
their only advice is to try reinstalling WMP9.
