OK. I have a bunch of files saved on floppy diskettes
they were saved using MS-DOS 6.0. Now I am operating
Windows ME and cannot access any information! I want my
files back can you help me? if so email me at
Realbear69@yahoo.com Thank you. hopefully there is a
conversion program that I can run to fix my diskettes to
work with Win ME.

Asked on the News Group - Replied to the News Group!

You don't say what type of files they are but assuming they are xxxx.qic
files then they are probably backups made using MS Backup for DOS.

If you have a full or upgrade 'retail' MS copy of the WinMe CD (not an OEM
version), you will find in the \add-ons folder, a further folder called
MSBackup where there is a backup.txt file which explains how to install the
WinMe version of MSBackup. This should restore your files.
