I am re-installing ME. It reaches the point where it is
setting up hardware and finalizing settings, and trying to
install the driver database when I receive the error
message Error 0E:0028:FFF00CC. When I return to continue,
the process starts again and errors again. When I
Cntl+Alt+Delete, I get "An exception 0E has occurred at
028:FFFF00CC in VxD---, This was called from 0028:C00B0DD0
in VxD---". Again when I reboot, this error loops at the
same point of installation. Now I can't even restart in
Safe Mode, or reboot from A drive without Windows ME
resuming the install. Can anyone tell me how to fix this
error so I can complete installation? Please help.
Thanks Funky
