If SR is only keeping 2 days of restore points, then there's probably
something going on that shouldn't be!!
There's NO WAY to back up restore points to anywhere else - SR doesn't work
that way. It's not a backup tool, merely a get-out-of-jail card!
Look here for some possible pointers on what may be happening

One similar problem recently was finally pinned down to the fact that the
windows Temporary files were being pointed to the C:\Windows folder, rather
than the C:\Windows\Temp folder - it's worth checking that - in MSCONFIG |
Environment - make sure that TEMP=C:\Windows\Temp and TMP=C:\Windows\Temp.
