I finally was able to download Explorer 6 again, hoping it
would do away with my pop up error saying   URLMON.DLL.
but it did not do away with it.  Someone please help.  If
I reinstall windows ME, would it just over ride the
windows installation or would it do away with other things
installed since then?

It is possible you may have parasites on your system causing the problem.
Download, install, update and run the programs below. They are free and very
effective. Install and run them all, and be sure to run both SpyBot and
Adaware, as what one does not detect the other may. Follow the directions
for all programs carefully. If this does not resolve your problem, please
post back here with the results

SpyBot: Free

Adaware: Free
