Recently when logging onto the computer I started
receiving pop-up errors saying "The shortcut xxxxxxxx.lnk
refers to a location that is unavailable." At times I have
to click out of as many as 35 of them.  What the heck is
going on??  I pulled up the properties on them and it
tells me "The name 'C:\Windows\xxxxxxx.exe' specified in
the Target box is not valid.  Make sure path and file..."
I even tried the 'Restore' angle but that didn't help
either - I still get them. What should I do?

delete the shortcuts - it's likely that they were generated by a virus.
