defrag004 error

desperate - 28 Sep 2004 05:34 GMT

scan disk says no errors but defrag says can't defrag as
there are errors on drive - run scandisk. i have run scan
disk repeatedly and still keep getting same message. i
have done full system scan, ensured no other programs
trying to write to disk and still have the same problem.
any suggestions?

Have you run Scandisk in Thorough Mode? - scanning the whole disk for
errors?
