Setup was unable to install all components for 6.0.  I have tried many things
to get it to work including what is listed under Microsoft "You Cannot Finish
Installing or Upgrading Internet Explorer", but nothing seems to work.  So
would really just like to get rid of 6.0 completely & go back to only 5.5.
It is not under Add/Remove under Control Panel.  Does anyone know what ALL I
need to do to completely get rid of 6.0 & the iexplore (that goes with 6.0)
that keeps messing with my computer?  I would be very greatful for this
assistance.  I can't seem to locate it under Microsoft.

I had the same problem with updating from IE5 to IE6. Can't remember
where I saw this, but it works.
Go to: My computer / tools / folder options / view
Select "show hidden files and folders"
         Click "OK"
Go back to desktop. Right click on desktop/ click "new" to create a new
folder on your desktop. Name it  "Old Uninstall" (without the brackets).
Go to: My computer / C / Program Files / Internet Explorer / Uninstall
Information
Click:  Edit / Select all / Cut
Go back to your desktop and open the "Old Uninstall" folder you created.
Right click inside it,  and click "Paste".
Go to set up for IE6 and install normally.
Should install everything now. If everything works, delete the "Old
Uninstall" folder on your desktop.
Hope this helps.

This worked wonderfully - THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!  Now trying to run a Scan Disk
since that hasn't worked either with all of this.  So hoping that goes thru.
Thanks again!
