I have winme oem pre_installed how can I get a CD-ROM with WinME installed
for backing up purposes -- also scheduled task is not responding---How can I
resolve this ?

Ron,

The PC manufacturer? Alternatively try eBay.

OTOH you may not need a CD at all. Can you boot into Win Me? Do you have
a CD burner? If so look for the file BASE2.CAB which should normally be
in a folder called C:\Windows\Options\Cabs or C:\Windows\Options\Install.
If you find this file together with others in the same folder including
PRECOPY1.CAB, SETUP.EXE, CATALOG.CAB, DRIVER?.CAB, NET?.CAB and various
WIN??.CAB files you have al that is needed to reinstall Win Me. Burn that
entire folder to a CD and you should be able to reinstall Win Me at any
time by running setup.exe from that CD.
