Could someone please direct me to the correct site if this one's wrong? My
question is how can I tell if my IE 5.5 has SP2 installed? Thanks in
advance for either a steer to the appropriate page or an answer! BillR.

Open Internet Explorer and click Help | About. If you have IE5.5 SP2
installed it will display on the first line Version 5.50.4807.2300 and in
the section Update Versions SP2 should be the first listed of the
installed hotfixes.

Simple enough - open IE and click on Help|About - the popup will show you
what version is installed, and the updates .

If you are running IE 5.5 (any version) then you really should consider an
upgrade to IE6 - it's much safer in today's spyware-ridden world, as well as
being more stable, and significantly faster.
