Well, let's see if this goes to correct place, again:
Where can I find info on the driver ndis.vxd. I have isolated this virtual
driver as the possible cause of my improper power shutdown. Whenever it is
installed, my Me o/s will not shut down via the "Shutdown" command. It
hangs.
What is in it & how can I find out how to regen the thing.

And the reply is the same as before.  Microsoft have never felt the need
to release an updated version of ndis.vxd for Win Me as that released with
Win Me causes none of the problems you are seeing.  You need to look
elsewhere for the solution to your problems.

Searching I feel for something that does not exist.  As I said before I
think you need to look elsewhere for the cause of your problems.
