Through msconfig I see the following startup item:

Name: Description of Shortcut

Loaded From: Startup Group

Command:  C:\Windows\Application
Data\Microsoft\Installer\{9944aa9e-362d-11d3-81ab-
00c04fb932Ba}\1960F8A9.exe

I've removed this from the startup list but it reappears.
A google identified the calendar update as the culprit.

I've recently uninstalled ad reinstalled the Windows 2000
Works suite.

Could you please confirm and advise as to how I disable
this?  I'm running WinME, Windows 2000 Works suite.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Go into the Options in Works and turn off the Reminders.
