Thanks Shane.
I thought I had posted the right link but obviously not. Thanks for the
correction as ir was never my intention to point the poster towards a
product they would have to pay for especially as the product in this case
is actually free.
Cheers,

It *used* to be the right link, Mike. I forget the precise details but
afaicr the company who actually own the domain and had been allowing Toni to
use it for free, decided they wanted to get some money back. He wasn't
consulted when they decided to charge to access a download for his free
software and when apprised of the situation, asked them to stop doing so.
And I thought they'd complied, but obviously not.

Mike, good morning.
Ive been using the cleaner as mentioned.
Was looking for a solution to deal with all the duplicate files.
I had to complete a reboot and it wasnt clean. Essentiall the external cd
drive was parallel driven and was not able to boot from them.
We took out the hard drive and threw the files on that way. Unfortunatlely,
a network boot wasnt completed either. Any event, thats why I have so many
duplciate files.
Is there a way to determine the files to delete by time or date?

I'm sorry but I haven't a clue as to what you are talking about or what
duplicate files have to do with using a registry cleaner.

Correction, of course I know what you mean about duplicate files but not
where a registry cleaner comes in to play. Also where are these duplicate
files located?

I used the link provided for the freeware - Toniarts.
There are 900+ files in 361 groups.

And this has what to do with duplicate files? I'm sorry but I feel you
really do need to explain yourself a little more.

Ah, I see. EasyCleaner also has the ability to check for duplicate files.
I'm somewhat surprised that you have 900 duplicate files although would
expect you to have some in folders such as windows\vcm (duplicates here
can all be safely deleted), windows\sysbckup and windows\options
(duplicate files in these areas should be retained).
