As of 1 April I can no longer UNcheck system restore in properties > advanced
> file system. I used system info earlier in the day and had break points
thru mid march. Something keeps rechecking the disable system restore box.
Have run anti virus, trojan and spyware programs and nothing detected.

Hi Mike, statemgr is enabled, I learned about that long time ago and >4.2G
free on C: and I just rechecked the status and it now remains UNchecked
(enabled) ?
While I had the problem of something disabling sys res I noticed that when I
clicked on the file system button AND the troubleshooting tab, both screens
took longer than usual to change. Could a winmgt problem cause it ? I was
trying to export a sys info summary and suddenly got several winmgt error
notices. That
Thanks
