Running Win ME..I installed a new Video Card and when I start up,the screen
doesn't fill out..It leaves about an inch margin on the screen on all 4 sides.
The vertical and horizonial adjust buttons on the monitor don't help
either. They just move the whole screen up or down..Any ideas anyone?

Have you installed the drivers for your new video card?  If not may I
suggest you download and install the latest Win Me compatible drivers for
your new card from the manufacturer's web site.  Once you have done that
then you should be able to configure the card to use the right resolution
and colour depth for your needs and for this to fill the monitor screen.

Thanks for the suggestion,Mike.Went to the website and down loaded the latest
drivers. It gave me a program to adjust the screen vertically and
horizonally,which I tried.When I clicked the arrows to enlarge either way,the
whole screen moved instead of just the top or bottom or the sides.
So,I'm back where I started from..If you can think of any more ideas,It
would be much appreciated...Thanks.....Charlie

Forget about adjusting the screen in the way you mention.  Install the
correct drivers and select the required resolution and colour depth.  If
any small adjustment is required to centre the image on the screen then
use the controls on the monitor.

Charlie,

That is good news.  It's good to read that you've now managed to fix your
display problems.

Cheers,
