I'm not sure it was me who posted originally. I don't use DiskKeeper Lite
but rather use Raxco's PerfectDisk. I do know though that PerfectDisk and
DiskKeeper Lite use different methods to calculate the extent to which a
disk is fragmented.
As for whether you should use DiskKeeper Lite or the MS Defragger (which
is based on DiskKeeper) has to be up to you and which works best for you
on your system. If DiskKeeper Lite does the job for you without problems
and MS Defrag freezes then I'd stick with the one that works.

Thanks, Mike. I knew this wasn't a cut and dried answer and the only dilema
for amateurs like me is even knowing when your system issue is one of poor
Defrag quality Vs. the other zillion things that can confront a computer
user. I'll rock aling with the DK Lite for ease and see what happens. Thanks
again.
