I am running Windows ME and during the startup sequence I
get the following error messages:
MSGRV32 has caused an error in IPHLPAPI.DLL;
Autochk has caused an error in KRNL386.exe;
Shadow has caused an error in IPHLPAPI.DLL; and
Wallpapr has caused an error in IPHLPAPI.DLL.
I acknowledge each error message as they come up.  My PC
appears to load properly after the messages are
acknowledged.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Bob 422

What protection against viruses, spyware or adware are you using?  At least
one of those programs - SHADOW.EXE - is a background program that captures
keystrokes and screen shots for someone who is spying on you.

I have Adaware 6.0, CW Shredder, WinPatrol, and Norton
Anti-Virus.
I tried to delete Shadow.exe but the message said Windows
was using it.

Yep, it will be in use, since it's spying on you.  Try starting in Safe
Mode, then run all your tools to clean the system up, if SHADOW.EXE is still
there rename it to SHADOW.OLD so it can't run any more.
