I have a Dell dimension 4100 that I had to replace the
harddrive on.  I was able to copy most of my files over
but now I get an error when I try to boot up
SYMEvent (01) + 0000BDOB ERROR:0E:0028:C00799F7
The system will then freeze and I'll have to reboot
again.  This may happen several times before I finally get
into windows.  Is there anything I can do to fix this?

SYMEvent is a Symantec (Norton) file associated with Norton Antivirus.
You may need to update and/or reinstall your Norton software in order
to resolve this issue.

The following Knowledge Base article gives a work-around procedure
that may help:
