Hi all! I don?t know if my question has been asked and answered
already, either ways I?d appreciate any suggestion on solving it.
Everytime I try to see a website that turns out to be non-existent (or
type in the wrong web address by mistake) I get an error with
MSHTML.dll that requires me to restart internet explorer. It?s IE
6.0.2800.1106
I downloaded the IE 6 SP1 about 3 times already and that didn?t solve
the problem. I found an article on microsoft support that suggested
re-extraction of the mshtml.dll from ie_1.cab, but there is no
ie_1.cab in the windows update setup files folder. I re-extracted all
the .cab files there were in the folder and found MSHTML.dll in
IEMIL_2.cab, but system configuration would not let me replace the old
MSHTML.dll.
I?m just plain confused now.... Help!!
