I have windows ME, using microsoft office.  I want to
upgrade to office 2003 but the box says requirement is
windows 2000.  I assume that there should be no
compatibility issue but I want to make sure.

What the box says is correct.  Microsoft Office 2003 can only be installed
on systems running Windows 2000 SP3 or later or XP or later,  Office 2003
cannot be installed on any Win 9x system such as Win Me.
