In my Device Manager, I have the following ? marks
1/ HCFmodem WDM - Conexant PCI Modem Enumerator
The modem has the following markings on the chips - RH56D-PCI // R6795-12
//  E 65212.1  // 0033 Hong Kong

2/ Sound,video ....controllers - MPU-401 Compatibile MIDI Device
(Looks like the sound card is integrated on the motherboard)

3/ USB controller-Intel(r) 82801AA USB Univeral Host Controller

Downloded what I can from HP websites and does not seems to solve the driver
problems. The Intel web is making me confused as to which want should I use.

The motherboard have the folowing chips
A) Intel 810 //  FW 82810E //  F043IA36  // SL3MD  // Intel
B) SMSC  // LPC47U332  // D0022-E7562  // 8H22469-7

The Display adapters -Intel(r) 82810E Graphics Controller (is ok) and the
display looks normal.

Any assistance is much appreciated, thanks.

Downloaded Intel 810E chipset Utlity from here
http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/filter_results.aspx?strTypes
=all&ProductID=816&OSFullName=Windows*+Me&lang=eng&strOSs=22&submit=Go%21

and run it and could not remember what is the message. In any case,
Sound, video ....controllers - MPU-401 Compatibile MIDI Device, the drivers
been install.

In the Device Manager,- USB controller
               - Intel(r) 82801AA USB Univeral Host Controller (no more ?
mark).

However,I now have an additional USB Root Hub with a question mark. Under
the device status it says "The NTKERN VXD device loader(s) for this device
could not load the device driver (code 2)
To fix this, click Update Driver....

Still trying to solve this also,  HCFmodem WDM - Conexant PCI Modem Enumerator

Anyone answering this s.o.s call ////..THANKS
