Mouse pointer not visible except in safe mode

My mouse no longer is visible except in safe mode it works fine. How or what
do I need to do to be able to use my mouse again in regular startup?

Control Panel/System/Device Manager, go to Mouse & click on + to bring
own the Mouse itself and delete it, reboot and it will automatically
re-install and all should be well.
If you've got a non-standard mouse then delete it via Add Remove
programs and re-install.
