I have WIN Me and my mouse suddenly stopped working. I've opened and cleaned it as well as tested it on aanother ssystem. All works except for scroll button. I might add, while you are at the computer store, make sure you get an optical mouse. Optical mice are better because they don't have balls to get dirty and they don't need pads.
