Get this error message on boot up of my Window ME PC:
MSVFW32.DLL linked to missing export file NTDLL.DLL

What does this mean?  Do I need a new one?  Where do I get one on th
web?

Thanks

The usual reason for seeing such a message is that you have installed an
application that contains a copy of msvfw32.dll that is not intended for
use with Win Me but probably instead with XP.

You can extract a clean new copy of msvfw32.dll from the Win Me cab files
using MSConfig | General | Extract File... and following the prompts.
Alternatively you can do this by hand by locating the file WIN_13.CAB
either
in the WIn9x folder on your Win Me CD or in a folder under
C:\Windows\Options,
double clicking on the cab file, selecting msvfw32.dll and dragging a copy
to
your Windows\System folder.  See also MS KB 129605 - "HOW TO: Extract
Original
Compressed Windows Files" (http://support.microsoft.com?kbid=129605).

msvfw32.dll belongs in the windows\system folder.

Alternatively you can use System Restore to roll your system back to
before
the file was altered provided that that is not more than a few days ago.
