I have an HP machine running Windows Millenium Edition.  My son loaded some
goofy cursors on the machine.  How do I return the cursors to standard
Windows cursors?

Thanks in advance.

Change them in Control Panel-Mouse-Pointers tab

Some of these "free" cursors, toolbars etc carry spyware. I suggest you
check in Control Panel/AddRemove Programs to see if any programs you know
you haven't installed yourself are present and uninstall them.

It might also be worth a scan with Spybot S & D and Ad-Aware. (both freeware
with no hidden extras and highly respected)

A common mistake that people made when trying to design something completely
foolproof was to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Please reply to the OP, not to me, with your strange response.

Sorry to butt in but why did you consider this a strange response?  I was
about to suggest running spybot and adaware myself as a precaution.
