Sean,
Removing an entry in the registry won't save you any space on your hard
drive. Unless you know exactly what you are doing, and your question
suggests you may not, I would strongly urge you to leave your system
exactly as it is and use your computer rather than fiddle. <g> If you
have a specific problem post full details and I'm sure someone will be
happy to try and help.

Hi Mike,
I use Easycleaner to remove duplicate files - it's very good at this - but
they're not registry keys/values. Sean sounds as if he thinks Easycleaner is
solely a registry cleaner thus everything it does is to that end!
I don't use it for registry anything, but for removing the aforementioned
dupes, and orphaned shortcutsm and Easycleaner removes them - there's no
need of another prog. You just highlight a file or multiple files then click
the delete button. You can delete all by highlighting the first, then
dragging the cursor down through the rest. By default it moves them to the
Recycle Bin. For my specific need I can then arrange the files by folder and
restore all those coming from one location and *really* delete the rest.
