Commas insert 2 second pauses in dialing. one or two between the main
number and extension usually work fine. HTH

Thank you very much,BJ.Are there any other characters used to automatically
dial a phone number? Are they subject to the Modem, the phone Exchange,or
anything else?

AT ssstrings used.
