Running windows Me on a amd xp 1.26 ghz proceesor, raid
kr7a, When i boot up there is a message that says " cpu
unworkable or has changed press f1 to continue or check
soft menu ". If i press f1 everything boots up fine, i
have check the bios setup everything is configured fine.
This is a custom built computer, which use to run xp pro,
it did it with that os to. Everything is updated, all
drivers, software, hardware ext. I would like it to boot
up completely on its own. If anyone has any ideas it would
be greatly appreciated.

Chances are that your CMOS battery is dead - try replacing it.
