The MSIEXEC.EXE file is linked to missing export
MSI.DLL:222. I can't find the program in my computer. I
keep getting this message during startup and logging on to
AOL.  HELP?

MSIEXEC.EXE file is linked to missing export MSI.DLL:222:
Your problem is due to a bit of a version soup with the files used by the
Microsoft installer.  Have a look at the Microsoft Knowledge Base article
322105 (below) which gives a link to the download centre where you can get a
new copy of the Windows installer  Don't worry about the KB only mentioning
Picture It! , Publisher and FrontPage, the reason for the error and the fix is
the same in that you have mismatched or damaged copies of the various files
that make up the Windows Installer.  Note that before installing the updated
installer it is often a good idea to locate and rename all copies of the file
msi.dll.as this file can often be the cause of problems when attempting to
update the installer.

See MSKB  322105 - "MSIEXEC File Is Linked to Missing Export MSI.DLL:222"
Error Message When You Run Setup for FrontPage, Picture It!, or Publisher""
