Terry,
It would help us to know what brand of computer we are
dealing with here.. Also, is your sound card integrated or
non-integrated.. There are many possible fixes for your
problem but a little more information from you would get
us started in the right direction..
Please post back with more info.

I took my computer into the shop as my video card drivers
were corrupted. They fixed the problem, but now I have no
sound :( I called the tech and he said I would need to re-
install Windows ME, but I can`t do that as it is an OEM
which means I only have a Recovery CD and diskette. I
really don`t want to have to reformat my computer to the
way it was the day I bought it. Is there someone where I
can download the files so that I don`t have to reformat?
Thanks

I`m not sure by what you mean by integrated or not. The
brand of my computer is a Micor. I bought it in 2000.
Everything was working fine until the computer tech re-
installed the drivers for my video card which got
corrupted somehow. Sorry I can`t give you more info...I`m
not exactly a computer whiz.
Thanks
