I have new Zune 80G.  For a while, everything worked properly but in the last
4 weeks, I started to see duplicate listings for podcasts on my Zune.  It's a
bit strange - if I listen to one, all of the entries are de-highlighted and
removed when I resync, so it appears the Zune does understand that these
aren't separate podcasts.

Also, the desktop software only shows one version of the podcast when I
browse the device.

Any suggestions/thoughts on why the device shows multiple listings of the
podcasts?

Thanks, Joe.

I have the same problem on my Zune 80.  It's quite annoying, though nothing I
can't live with for a while.  Now that I am apparently not the only Zune user
with this problem, I am surprised that I haven't heard of it elsewhere.

I'm having the same problem. It's really quite annoying especially when I'm
trying to select a podcast while driving. I hope they come out with a fix
soon. Many people are having the same problem.

I am having the same problem.  Unfortunately, there isn't much information
about it online.  It is quite annoying to be honest.  I got my zune 80 about
a month ago, and it started to happen randomly.  What I can't believe is that
with the software and firmware update released this week for the zune (v.
2.5), the problem was not corrected.  This probably means we will have to
live with it for a long while until MS releases a new update.  I love my
zune, but this really sucks!
