I'm trying to burn cd's across networked drives but the
device ( shared network drive ) does not show up in device
list in Media Player

I don't think that burning CD's across a network is supported. That isn't
a limitation with WMP, that's a limitation with CD Burning in general. I
belive that the IMAP API only works on a local drive.

That's just a guess, you should try your question on a more storage-centric
newsgroup or on a general operatining system forum.
