I am interested in purchasing the DLINK DSM-320 but was wondering how
fast of a PC would I need to install the software on? Meaning, I have
a nice P4 2.6 but if I could get away with puttin git on my slower
machine (876mhz) that would would be great.
Anyone have this product and what type of speed are you getting on what
type of machine? Thanks in advance for any and all info.

I am using my DSM320 witha P3 733mhz and it runs OK. The limitations with
any software is to get it work properly, and that is not so much a speed of
the server issue.

I am running mine on a Intel Celeron 450MHz. Nothing fancy. just lots of a
space.

The speed of the server really isn't a problem. All it's doing is serving
the raw data to the DSM 320. The DSM320 actually decodes the video and audio
for playback.
