From the new specs released on the XBox360 today, it sounds like it will work
with the Windows Media Connect service to allow access to all of your digital
media and stream it to your tv.

Yup, just gone and brought a copy of Windows XP now and installed on my
server box so I can use WMC. 8-)  Music and pictures seem a definite, not
sure where video is going to play in, hopefully I won't need to get MCE, as
it would bugger my domain right up.

I have not seen a definite answer about the Xbox360, but I really wish my
current Xbox would work with the WMConnect and Media Extender.

I can't believe that Microsoft didn't figure that out.
