I have a dell desktop running XP Home, with Service pak 2.  While using
Windows Media Connect (WMC) I get about 50 or so "Unknown Errors" while
sharing my music folder.  The FAQ gives a fix for this, but it seems to only
be for XP Pro, because the tabs it asks for are not in XP Home.  Please tell
me how to fix my permission issues in XP Home. Thanks

Please try the steps in Alan's posting at
http://www.wmcplayer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=133#133

XP Home (and Pro) includes a command-line application named 'cacls.exe' that
allows you to change permissions.
