My dsm-320 is coming up deactivated after every reboot.  I did not have this
problem until about a month ago.  The only thing that I know has changed is
the firmware on the dsm-320.

I saw a previous post on this topic and looked at the registry.  My unit's
mac address is in the allowed list until windows media connect restarts.  It
then moves to the denied list.

The data in the denied list is "S-1-5-20"

Which firmware revision do you currently have on the D-Link?  Does this
still reproduce after upgrading to Windows Media Connect v2?  See:

I upgraded to WMC v2 and this problem went away.  Thanks.
