I have a D-Link DSM-320 and I'm using Windows Media Connect. I have
been waiting FOREVER for a new release of WMC because of an annoying
bug. It's a bug that has been known for some time - fast forwarding a
video on the DSM-320 doesn't work. Previously, when you hit FF, and
then "Play" when you get to the spot you want, it just goes back to the
beginning of the video. Now, in 2.0, when you hit FF, it just locks up
the video.
I have been waiting for this release anxiously so I could finally watch
recorded shows from my computer. What a drag.

Don't hold your breath. I reported this problem a while back and was told by
Microsoft that because D-Link is not "complying with the spec", I should
report the problem to them. I did and have not heard a peep back from them.

Yes, I reported the problem to D-Link too and they seem pretty
uninterested. They sent me a link to www.tversity.com/index.html which
is probably not what I want because:
a) it is in the "alpha" (or just into beta) stage of development
b) it offers features I don't require
I may give it a try, but I can't believe D-Link would not realize how
serious this bug is.
